Kosrae

The State of Kosrae, an island in the Federated States of Micronesia, is known for its participation in the Micronesian Games and its commitment to sports development. It is located in the easternmost part of the FSM, surrounded by a reef. Kosrae, measuring 16 kilometers across at its widest point, is a circular island with no outer islands. Its main resources are marine life and lush vegetation, including citrus fruit. The state has its own constitutional government with executive, legislative, and judicial branches led by a Governor and Lt. Governor.
